Hey everyone, I have two clownfish. What is the best food for them? I'm sure this has been asked a million times. I've tried mysis shrimp, pellets and a LFS brand of made in house frozen and they won't eat it.

Rods brand fish eggs always worked best for me. Given that variety offered, if not eating anything it's a cause for concern. It may not be food related.

Were these fish quarantined? Can you provide some white light pics and a video? Just trying to cover bases here as not eating can be a big deal as opposed to being picky.

I dont have any videos. I'll have to take one. But after watching last night when I fed them. They both will eat the pellets. The mainly orange one, eats but not nearly as much as the other. He will bite the pellets and it's either 50/50 if he's gonna keep it or spit it out. Neither if them will touch the dehydrated mysis or the frozen food made at my LFS. The pellets im feeding are the Sera Marin granules nature staple food.

Wow, surprising to see picky clowns, mine will eat anything. Mine really like Marine Cuisine from San Francisco Bay Brand, readily available at most pet stores around me.

Mine are pigs, they will eat anything that floats around them. Food preference may not be the issue IMO.

They go crazy when the food hits the water. One eats a lot fo pellets and the other its 50/50 if he's gonna spit it out or keep it down. But he goes crazy for it. They go crazy for the frozen food for my lfs but they don't eat any of it when it's floating around the tank and they both could care less for the dehydrated mysis

Never tried blood worms but mine like the brine as well. Marine cuisine has a good diversity of food sizes.
