I just picked up a few corals from the LFS. Ended up getting some GSP, Clove Polyps. Toadstool leather. I did transfer everything to new frag plugs and dipped and everything. Currently the GSP, and clove Polyps are looking good. My toadstool however is looking a little funky to me and I'm just curious what you guys think as I'm new to this. It hasn't attached to the frag plugs yet I have it lightly tied down to the plug in hopes it'll eventually attached to it. I've attached a photo.

Try a photo in white light, leathers/toadstools are difficult to attach in general, looks like polyp extension so that is a plus.
If you JUST got these today, give them some time to acclimate.
I've posted a new photo does this toadstool look good to you? its still just floating above the piece of rumble rock however im hoping it grabs on soon.

You need to make sure the base flesh of it is touching the rock for it to adhere.

Ahh alright Ill have to tie it down a little tighter then.
Trust me... if that starts growing it will be the worst thing to happen to your tank. You have to get it segregated otherwise you can kiss having other coral goodbye.

I think he's talking about the toadstool, not the GSP.

Ahh.... my mistake. I get a little over excited trying to get people not to live through my nightmare.

I'm talking about the toadstool. The GSP is on a separate rock. I've heard some people's stories lol.

lol, I feel the same thing about xenia
Lol, neither compare to the horror of purple clove polyps. What a nightmare. Basically a full rescape with new sand is required...and even then, there's a chance u don't get every little piece out. Worst "coral" on Earth imo. Lol.
