I purchased a Crystal Dynamics 225 gal peninsula (72” x 30” w x 24” h) a little while ago, and the tank is finished and ready to be delivered. I’ve been super excited to get it delivered and set up, but as of just a few days ago it looks like I may be moving in the next year or two. As badly as I want to get this set up, I don’t even want to think about having to take it down and move it in a year or two. So, as much as it pains me, I’ve decided to sell it and keep my 70gal for now. My pain, your gain...

So if anyone is looking to get a custom built 225 gal peninsula with no wait at a great price, let’s talk. I spared no expense (power coated steel stand, Bashea sump), it’s my dream setup.

Includes
  • 72x30x24 starfire eurobraced peninsula tank with MM18 overflow
  • 42” tall steel stand with white magnetic doors
  • Bashea 48”x18”x16” sump
  • 1.5” drain / 1” return with bean animal plumbing kit, blue PVC
  • 2 port manifold
  • 1” neptune flow sensor on return

You’d pay $8,000 to buy this today. I’m asking $6500. Lots of pics available, DM if interested.

What a sweet setup, very nice. It's just a bad time to sell something so pricey.
Yeah I hear you... but if someone is already looking (still see lots of people getting new tanks on here) then this would be a good deal for them

Gorgeous setup with great dimensions.

Great idea on the 42" tall stand - whoever gets it will love the extra space.

Not sure why anyone would want anything shorter. I went with 46" tall stand myself - no need to bend over to look at the tank.

Very fair price and no waiting for months on end for somebody to build it.

Good luck with the sale.

Yeah I was really like tall stands. So much nicer to walk up and stare into..
