Hello,

I need help with my banggai cardinal.
I have had 2 banggai cardinals bought together for 6 months. They were ok initially in the tank but for the past few months the big one has been chasing the smaller one. Now the smaller one is losing color, getting skinnier and isn't eating, always hiding.

My tank is about 1 year old. 55 gallon.
Nitrite, ammonia, chlorine are zero
Nitrate about 20
Fish mates: 2 clowns, 4 green chromis, 3 nasarrius snails.

Also, the white area of the cardinal are getting darker in color. It's fins used to be longer, but are now shorter in size

Often this is dietary? Is it eating ?
If so, what are you feeding?
This fish is Not a brine shrimp only eater and needs foods high in fats. Add vitamins also to its foods. If eating and getting thin, often a sign of possible internal issue

I give brine shrimp only.
Thank you for your reply! I will find high fat foods for it!
