So I have a small bacteria bbloom on my young tank and after a little research on here I see that many use the green killing machine.
I have 2 questions
1. it this safe to use on my tank as someone stated it leaches something in the tank?
2. Can I use it in the sump on its side?
You can see it's not a whiteout but still a bloom

Green machine is a mini sterilizer and safe to use. I dont find them effective. Issue with haziness is likely filtration and adding a skimmer will help as well as controlling amount fed and even a hang on refugium. It appears you have a canister filter which is a mechanical unit and traps small particles but you are lacking chemical and biological filtration. The components mentioned will fulfill that
I assume this is a standard tank?

Ok - good to see. Assure overflow clear and Skimmer running at optimum, as your setup in sump should support this tank easily. Thanks for picture

Yeah runing the skimmer a little wet to for more o2. I placed the green machine in the sump on it's side.

Love the rockscape and the setup. You’ll get there in no time. Keep up the good work and keep staring at the tank and its future potential. Soon enough you’ll fulfill those goals and desires :star-struck:
