I’m back in the hobby 6 months In, I have a Red Sea 260 about 70 gallons.. not my first choice but fits my busy life style.. I run a skimmer (nyos) pretty good .. 2 hydra 26 .. eco tech l1 pump.. I have apex controller haven’t installed it yet .. struggled with hair algae currently winning mostly added some snails . Tamini tang and a fox face and 2 urchins.. I’m building a mixed reef I previously had great success with softies and zoas and a moderate one with sps I fried a few of them as I ran my radions at 100% but some seemed to love it I always acclimated for a few weeks and kept upping it .. and the ones that made it grew at great rate and had intense colors … I won’t do that anymore at least I’ll place some lower… I’m looking for some sps and gonis if anyone wants to sell me some frags for a decent price I’d appreciate it.. I noticed prices went insane but some people in the hoppy are still cool about it if you are one of these I’m local to Cleveland feel free to comment…I’ll leave some pics of previous tanks and the one I have now let me know what you think …
I’ll only add I care about alk8.5 salinity .34 ppm and temp77 ..
I test for nitrates and phosphate as long as they are in a range I’m happy with that .. no sudden changes no big water changes no chemicals except for trace elements and kalkwasser with the auto top off .. and nice healthy fuge

Welcome! Glad you joined. Seems like you are well on your way, and with your prior experiences you likely have a lot to share.

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread under Forum > Member Aquariums and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID)

This might help you find people local to you in Cleveland area:

This is a good reference book type online article I still review:
