20 years ago, I had 8 FOWLR tanks (90gal to 400gal) and a DIY 1,500gal lagoon in my basement, where I bred Banded Cat Sharks. Unidentified Scorpionfish, Frogfish, Hawaiian Dragon Morays, 15" Queen Trigger, basketball sized Volitan, football sized Porc Puffer. Reefcentral was the go-to and I was banned from there a handful of times. Lol To say that this hobby has evolved is a massive under statement.

Married and a son and other pets derailed my love for this hobby and I haven't has a salt tank in about 17 years. The bug hit me again about 2 years ago but I put it off because I never spend money on myself. I found this site from Reddit, a few days ago.

My wife has been on me about it, since my birthday last month to get a tank again. Petcos 50% off sale convinced me to bring home a 60gal cube.

So, here's the list.

-60gal Aqueon cube (24 X 24 X 24)
-57gal Reef Systems sump (that has been in my parents garage all these years)
-Kessil A360X Tuna Blue LED
-CPR Aquatics CS102DX overflow (I haven't drilled a tank in almost 20 years and just wasn't comfortable doing it now)
-Sicce Syncra SDC 3.0 WIFI Return Pump (800gph)
-Simplicity 120DC skimmer with controller

I finished the stand today. It's 2 x 4 and 2 X 6 and could probably hold a Mini Cooper.

I've never kept corals.

The only things I'm set on are a forest of GSP and some zoos. What are some other rather easy, vibrant corals to keep with my particular light?

Me and my 10 year old son have been researching fish. We'd like a very colorful reef safe Wrasse, a small reef safe Angel, a tri of Firefish and maybe a bottom dwelling Goby.

Sorry I typed out a novel. Lol I'm just excited to be back and see where this takes us.
