I don’t know what made me get the urge to lift a one of my live rock’s but underneath.. tucked in small crevices.. are small orange babies of some sort. Hopefully someone would be able to recognize it through my pictures.. It looks like it has tentacles like an anemone.. I just can’t figure out what exactly it could possibly be?

I have had one of my rfa’s spawn on two different occasions.. though, I don’t think the RFA babies would all be orange.. just really odd.

what's the orange coral(presumably) at the bottom right corner of the 3rd image? these don't seem like baby RFA's to me, maybe more like discosoma mushrooms as i don't notice any skirts. they seem closed.

It seems they have ball-shaped tips to their tentacles, so I'd say those are probably Ball Anemones (Corallimorphs), though clearer pics would help me feel more confident on that.

Assuming they are ball nems, though, they're not real anemones - they're actually related to soft mushroom corals. Most ball nem species we get in the hobby seem to be harmless, though a few reproduce quickly.

I appreciate you.. that is what I think those little critters are. It’s unknown how they even became to evolve in my nano.
