Hi, I currently do not own any saltwater tanks, but I did happen to notice what seems like a baby nerite snail in my freshwater tank. As you may know, nerite snail eggs don't hatch in freshwater, what is going on?
In the video, you can see that the supposed baby nerite snail must have hatched possibly hours or days ago and is inching away from the eggs. Btw, these are definitely nerite snails, because they have layed eggs before without them hatching, I've had the adult nerites for over a year.

I've heard of the odd nerite hatching in freshwater. Mine just laid annoyingly-difficult-to-remove eggs with no hatches. Have you added any live plants lately?
