I am trying to make sure these are not vermeted snails. They are all over my rock and fairly small. I also noticed that the rock is full of the white tiny little curly things. Please help. My tank is 5 month old.

Welcome to R2R!
The curly things are a calcarious filter feeder, like a mini feather duster. Harmless. The concentration will come and go, but will always be there. Both them and the Pineapple sponges are a great sign you are doing things right!
