Are these trochus snails?

I recently ordered some trochus snails online and got these. I am a bit confused that these snails didn't have the typical black body with the brownish "trap door" that all my other trochus snails have. It's clearly different from what the online picture depicts too, which is you
typical purple shelled with black feet.

But then again, I'm no snail invert... so I'd love to know if folks have had trochus snails of different variety and whether I am being worried over a non issue...

They are astrea which are very good algae eaters and workers in general

Key reasons I am a bit suspect is...

1. Feet are not black, they are white with green striations
2. Can't really tell if there are bands on the shell other than some hints of coraline
3. It's trap door is white and not brown (this article states the trap door is typically brown or amber)
4. They haven't been able to right themselves.

This is all relative to the trochus and astrea I already have in my other system...

Vendor got back to me and said that they are trochus snails and they look different because of the season and place they are located changes through the year.

Honestly, still a bit suspect but 1. They are a pretty big vendor and 2. What do I know about trochus snails to challenge someone who does this as a job day in and day out? *shrug*

They might be a species of trochus but no clue what. They are not the type that’s often referred to as banded trochus though which is what you are probably expecting instead.

Looks like turban/turbo snails, closely related to trochus but often less able to right themselves if they topple into the sand

Doesn’t look like any trochius I have. Mine are red banded trochius, shells are red, banded, snail is black footed and brown bottom. A vendor sent me trochius one time that weren’t red banded as I asked for that. They were larger and I gave them away.

Same. The same vendor had sent me the black trohus snails a few months back so I was obviously surprised when I got these instead.

More pictures of the snails in question. At this point, hoping this helps educate folks about a different type of trochus snail or I've just plublicly been made a fool by being fooled lol (doubt it though, giving vendors the benefit of the doubt).

Temperament difference between red banded and black trochius. I prefer the red banded, smaller and not as aggressive, my opinion of course. I also explained this to vendor which they never noticed the difference.

Well... my lfs sells ones that look like that as trochus, but I think they're astrea... because I've seen them not be able to flip themselves over (and trochus should be able to). Astreas are good workers but I can't have them because my wrasse will eat them.
