I know how cleaner wrasse beat up other fish to get parasites for them to eat, but will neon gobies do the same? thought about getting a neon goby but will it cause problems for my other fish if I add them? I also have a yellow clown goby, will they get along?

I have a blue streak in my tank who never bothers other fish. He will pick at them some if I don't have nori sheets in the tank, but if there's nori, he is completely unphased by anything else.

No experience with the goby though

neon gobies are harmless, they won't bother anything , and will only clean a fish if the fish lets it but bot aggressive style. I have 3 clown gobies in my tank with the neon goby, they are all fine.

I don't understand the "beat up other fish" part but that isn't what they do. Maybe you mean bug, pester, bother, or similar activities which could stress out a fish if it is the same one all the time?

To your question on the 'blue neon goby' I have one and no, it does not bother fish at all. I do not own a blue streak cleaner wrasse to compare though but my understanding of how they work it isn't anything like that at all. In fact mine is captive bred/raised via Biota. I purchased it directly from them. I introduced it to my display and didn't see it for a few days. Then one day during my normal morning observation I saw it hanging out on a rock. Fish know what is going on because shortly after my Gold Lined Rabbit went there to let it do its thing. Then my Zoster and Pyramid butterflyfish and a few others be it my Scopas tang or Copperband.

TL; DR - it will find a spot, setup shop, and fish will come to it. In my experience that is - this is what I see. It has an area, hangs out, and fish pass through when they want.

Edit: small fish - I do not own a yellow clown goby but I do own a Links and Upside down goby and it don't bother them at all.
