Are my clown fish sick?

Hi all, recently noticed my clowns are starting to develop a minor white haze. I will post a picture below. Recently when through a small ugly stage otherwise the parameters are been stabile. Any advise would be great on how I should move forward. Thanks

It’s hard to make out anything in the pictures - could you take them with the whites on?
Are they acting off at all? Is their breathing rate normal or does it look labored at all?

Here’s the best pic I could get if you look at the head and in between the first orange stripe you can kind of make it out. I havnt noticed any heavy breathing or the fish acting weird. They have been eatting and swimming around

I can sort of make it out - looks like it could be either ich or brook.
Both would need to be treated in a separate qt tank. Copper kills ich, while brook requires formalin. Given the two different treatments, it’s important to be sure what it is first. Watch for changes in appetite, respiration, or behavior and have a qt tank on hand.

If I had to make a informed decision I would have to say it sounds more like brook. Should I begin the qt process or is this premature not knowing for sure

Agreed - based on the picture, it could be Ich or Brook. Either way, you should treat right away. Ich is easy, coppersafe in a treatment tank. Brook is more difficult to deal with - formalin works well but is toxic and hard to get. Ruby Reef doesn't always work. Some people have used hydrogen peroxide dips, but you need to do multiple dips and move the fish to a clean tank each time

If it were me, and I don’t know which, I would start with brook treatment given that it is the more deadly disease. Formalin would also have some (limited) efficacy against ich, though I would still treat with copper when done with formalin.
