Are any other enthusiasts also fishermen?

Yeah, I fish
and I’d take Detroit or Cleveland as bass fishing destinations OVER Florida every time (sans bikinis and sunshine lol)
unbeknownst to the rest of America, L.Erie is clean, productive and tops for bass and walleye. Limits are the norm. StClair ain’t chop liver for smallies either I’m told

My favorite fishing channel on YouTube is based in Missouri:
I found this guys vids when I was searching for Naples, Fla fishing. He seems to get a lot of warnings from the wardens, forgetting his license, etc. https://www.youtube.com/c/JOSELIKESFISHING

I'm heading down to Florida soon and really want to catch a peacock bass and whatever else I can find in the canals. I'm bringing saltwater and freshwater spinning gear and at least one fly rod.
