I have a question for those that have scaped living live rock. I plan on ordering my rock from Tampa Bay Saltwater which is shipped live in water so there will be very little die off. I want to use the macro rocks emacro 400 motor.

My question is, can this product be applied under water? I was thinking of putting all rock in my tank and filling with just enough water to cover the rock and keep it wet. I wasn't sure if I could actually apply the motor under water and have it cure and hold like it should.

Anyone have experience with this?

More importantly, does anyone have experience with TBS rock and how you scaped it... What product you used to bond it?

Having the rock out of water to work with it, even for a few hours won't cause enough die off to give you any problems.

I do all of my aquascaping under water. I use plumbers epoxy but coat it in super glue gel to get it to bond. It's not easy, but it works.

I know epoxy works well out of water. I've never used this specific mortar and would like some feedback on working with it
