Can I use api tap water conditioner for water changes in a reef tank. It says that it removes heavy metals on top of chlorine and chloramine.
I’m not keen on the product or using tap for water changes which contains chlorine-chloromine-phosphate and more

Some say the conditioner doesn't work but don't elaborate as to why. I actually use it for peace of mind and doesn't seem to affect anything because the hassle of going to the grocery store and storing buckets in space that I don't have is a real pain and time consuming.
