I am trying to setup my dos to dose kalk but when I add the volume (1440ml for example = 1 ml per minute/24 hour day) The DOS only doses every 12 minutes and dumps 12 ml of kalk in at once.

Is there no way to get it to dose more often than every 12 minutes or so? Like 1 ml every minute?

How much are you actually trying to dose?
Doesn't make any difference. I've programed 50ml to 5000ml it still only doses every 10 min or so, just varies the amount per dose.

Doesn't seem like they designed the programing to allow closer dosing intervals?

I use the Neptune DOS to dose Tropic Marin All For Reef starting at 0900 and ending at 2000. I set it up using the task or wizard.

By any chance have you looked at Suncrestreef's dos write up? Maybe in there? Not redirecting you but I don't have an answer but remember he did this.

Thanks, it did help, I bookmarked that thread. It looks like you can manually program it with profiles. So the max DOS count that can be set is 255 doses per program. So, if I split 24 hours into six 4-hour profiles @ 240 doses each I could (should) be able get it to dose once every minute 24/7. I'll have to play around with it!

Seems I'm replying saying something that is posted above me. I did this the other day as well. My apologies. I need to scan the whole thread before replying....
It appears to be working, dosing every minute,

To dose every minute I had to setup 6 profiles to cover 24 hours.

1ml every 60 seconds = 240 doses (minutes) per profile.

It's all good; I initially posted a quick reply, then hit edit while I looked up the DOS code link so I could revise it. Then after I hit save I noticed you'd posted the same link as well. Great minds and that! :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:
