I am currently trying to control a Sicce Xtream powerhead in my tank with my Apex. I have the IOTA set up and it's controlling the power, but no matter what mode I set it on (Constant, Slow Current, Fast Current, Etc) it seems to just be constant...

Here is the chart and I can see in the tdata code that the 5th term seems to be the mode command to the pump...but it doesn't seem to be working... (0 is constant, 1 is Lagoon, 2 is Sharp Break, etc...)

When I change modes when the IOTA is deleted (i.e. not connected to the Apex) and use the Sicce app, the difference is something I can see, hear, and feel... When I connect it to Apex, the mode selection doesn't seem to work...

Any suggestions or ideas? I am hoping it is just a Apex GUI bug and if I manually fix the tdata lines and put the mode in the correct spot it will work...

I have also asked Neptune...

What did Neptune say? Is it possible that Apex does not support that pump?

Sicce responded... Even though you can set the different modes in Apex, it doesn't really change anything in the pumps. So, it does nothing. You can only control the power setting.

Neptune has now also answered...

The mode settings do nothing. It will only be constant mode if controlled by the Apex. If you want wave modes, you have to disconnect from Apex and use the Sicce app. But I assume then you could try and use the "profiles" in Apex, but this seems to be a lot of work. It would have been nice of the system would have used the settings presented in the GUI...

So another "feature" of Apex that doesn't work...
