Pookstreet, where did you get those?

They kind of look like these:

I got them from sr71. So are they AoG? Just curious b/c we were just trading and he brought those over. Not really into the name thing, just like the way they look

here's my comparison shots... the true AoG from Mr. Ugly being the first one on the left... middle is FraggleReefs Platinum Redd PE.. right is goochsters..

Errrr.......they all look the same to my untrained eyes :laughing6:

you might be right.. ;)

but for now, there's subtle differences.. but the True AoG are the brightest!

maybe in the long run, they'll all be the same under the same tank conditions...

Most of the ones seen, sold, or traded online are not AoG.

The ones you have are awesome. One of my favorites. I like how the orange can get very fluorescent.

is it or is it not???????
is the original poster of the colony dissapointed just a little cause its not exactly same as "true" AOG ?

lol this is where the name game all goes pear shape.

no one take offence to wat i just said, the morphs are just so close that they maybe all the same but kept in diff conditions, they should all be regarded as same variety anyway as they are just so similar.

the name game needs tobe a variety rather then a specific morph, here is one of maybe a few obvious morphs of this variety but only one gets a "true" tag which is not only fuelling the price on that one of many morphs but also tagging others as 2nd rate morphs of the same variety.

just to proove a point on everybodys behaviour towards this situation and that includes everyone reading this..... if the poster of this thread was to put up for sale a 5 polyp frag of his zoa's while also the person with the "true" AOG tag done the same 5 polyp frag......... you lot would all plump to buy the "true" tagged frag.

no offence intended to anyone but because one has the true tag ALL COLLECTORS/LOVERS of zoa's want the true named morph rather then any other morphs, its just human nature for collectors.

oh i wish zoaid would create family variety names asap

a rose flower comes in various morphs but they all roses.............
