I set up a 20 gallon observation tank and ran across my old-school AquaController Jr and dc8. I decided to give it a go and it works good. I only use programming for the light on the observation tank and over the sump, everything else is just On. It has always struggled to keep accurate time and I am unsure if I trust the temperature probe. I may purchase a new temp probe.

Anyone else still run one of these?

I have Junior A1, which might be next version.
I would reference temp probe with some trusted digital thermometer. I dont think temp probe can really brake.
