Quick question. So I decided to do a deep clean in the filtration part of my evo. I came to discover these random white things sticking to the sides of the glass and plastic. They are essentially everywhere.

I had to take my skimmer apart and clean it cause there were so many inside and it wasn't working properly.

Any help would greatly appreciated. I am really wanting to know if they are reef safe as well.

Those are probably pineapple sponges. Filter feeders. They come and go. They don’t like light and so they are mostly found in shaded areas with lower flow. If you get nutrients lower most will go away.
Omg thank you. I was trying to search them but had no idea what they were. I search after you said it. That is what they are.

I will leave the rest I guess. Now I just need to figure out what nutrients is causing it.

Thanks again
