I am in love with this species and am debating on in my nano tank (3’ long but only 25G). Any ideas on their care?
Here’s the species in question. The more well known species in the genus is Emblemaria hypacanthus.

I've never had one, but from what I've heard from others is that they're pretty easy to care for. They're jumpers. They can eat large food items. I have heard multiple stories of people finding their with cleaner gobies hanging out of there mouth. Everyone who owned them says they were peaceful, but defended their territory. They are similar to barnacle gobies, needing a barnacle or cave. There are some old threads on here and other forums I could pull up for you if you'd like, but some people posting on them are getting the species confused. They seem like cool little fish; good luck!

Please do show the threads if possible - I’ve looked around and can’t find much on these awesome little guys.

I was also intrigued on if I would’ve been better with one or several (like barnacle blennies).

I will find as much as I can, but like I said some people posting on these get them confused with Emblemaria hypacanthus, So just be prepared for that.

Yeah I will - Hypacanthus is the one that got me into this genus but if I can get a pandionis I may grab it. Especially after seeing a video on a thread here.

Thread 'Atlantic Sailfin Blenny, Emblemaria pandionis?' https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/atlantic-sailfin-blenny-emblemaria-pandionis.766915/

(This one has a cool video)

Thread 'Caribbean sailfin blenny care' https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/caribbean-sailfin-blenny-care.520115/
(ignore the first reply on this one. There are a few others too, that don't talk about
Emblemaria pandionis.)

Seems like that's all I can find for now. I could've sworn I saw more. If I find them I will give you the link. Hope this helps.
