I have the tank up on the stand, 1.5 inch sand average and 100lbs live rock. I was wondering about how to aquascape for a reef. The first idea I had was doing two islands on each side of the overflow cover. I kept enough room on the sides and back for maintance and fish movement. Any other cool ideas out there would be well received. Thanks for the feedback in advance.

I have a reef slope.... the rock is low on one side, and raises near the top on the other.

Just keep the rock towards the back with plenty of shelves and caves and nooks and crannies. I did the slope from on side to the other I screwed up and kept things pretty close to the middle of the tank, wishing now that I wouldve kept it towards the back a little more.

i have mine towards the back as well. Just experiment with the rock. Turn it on all sides, make caves, and plenty of shelves... keep messing with it until it suits your eye and you still have room to put frags on!
