Any recommendations on salvaging orange galaxy macroalgae?

This macro arrived in pretty bad shape. The end "leaves" perked up a bit and have the orange spots, but the "stalk" has been consistently struggling and half-transparent.

Is it better to snip the nicer looking ends and reglue it? Or better to leave be? I now have some Chaetogrow adding occasionally (although not around during weekend to dose).

Any other recommendations? This one was meant to be my centerpiece refugium macro...

I would think red algae would be a lower light with moderate to low flow, but that is in a temperate tank. Speaking of which, I had a similar species of the thorny looking one in my temperate nano and it was invasive as "F"! Completely weaving itself in a red gracilaria (sp) Pom. so just keep an eye out.

The lower light recommendation on Red Macro would be true for Bortacladia but not Gracilaria.

@JoJosReef
I have not had much success with gluing macro. I find that Ty wraps work well or wedging between rocks.

It looks like you have two different Red Macros: Gracilaria Hayi and Gracilaria Parvispora (Red Ogo)

Actually got a bunch of different ones:

It looks like my entire order will be lost, unfortunately :-(

Sting of pearls not looking great, starting to get covered by algae.

Lost the living part of the orange galaxy (whole reason for making the order)

And even the birdsnest gracilaria, which was the holdout, is now getting covered in GHA, which isn't growing anywhere else in the tank!

I'm going to frag off a piece of that gracilaria and move over to my 10g macro/softie tank that is already overcrowded but at least growing Pom Pom gracilaria well:

I had a nice clump of this macro melt away to a single "stem" not much larger than yours. I left it in the tank and forgot about it. Then one day I noticed it was starting to grow. I had also glued the stem to a ceramic plug and was waiting for it to get bigger before I cut it and let it tumble. Then the other day I took a piece off and put it in my refugium with more flow and unattached and it is growing faster this way. You should be able to tell the "stem" that was all I had left.
Please ignore my bubble algae and aptaisia in my planted tank.

I currently only have a stem left. I'll leave it if it stays attached and see what happens. Bit sad about my macros all going downhill.
