Hello,
I am looking at purchasing a 100 gallon Artisan II tank from CAD lights but wanted to look at one personally first. I heard the only issue people have had is changing the metric to standard for the plumbing. Anyone out there have one or has dealt with one of these tanks?

Thanks,

I purchased the Artisan 50g. back in August.

I used all the plumbing without issues and have been happy with my purchase over all.

The good; Tank is beautiful. Excellent silicone work and edges. I like the over flow design. Stand is also very nice. Set-up was not very hard and went very smooth.

The bad: Return pump is junk, I upgraded from the beginning and use the included pump to mix salt. Skimmer is useable with some tinkering but in stock form junk.

I am over all very happy. I purchased during one of there sales for $800 shipped and could not buy a rimless tank/stand without any equipment for that price. I considered all the equipment a bonus. Be forewarned Cad lights has a terrible reputation after the sale if you have problems.

Thanks for your input; do you remember when the sale was? Do they have them often?

I am not sure when they have their sales or why but when they do have a sale it is a good one! I would call and explain you missed the last sale and see if they can "help" you. They seemed to be motivated sellers! I want to say the prices during the August sale went something like;

50g. -$800
70g. -$900
100g. -$1000

I know I had a hard time not buying a larger tank then planned.
