Hi guys,

Is there any issues with putting a power strip within the cabinet with my sump? I have a Wyze 6 plug power strip that I was wanting to put in cabinet beside my sump. Can you foresee any issues with corrosion or with it being in close promixity to the salt water? I'm guessing it would be smart to mount it on the side instead of just being on the floor of the cabinet in case water spilled from the sump?

Thanks!

Best make all plugs have loops in their wire to prevent water from dripping into Power strip.

If you can also, I like to mount horizontally sideways as opposed to the receptacles facing up or down.

I've got mine mounted on the side panel inside the cabinet with a sump. I added a 6" fan in the cabinet which blows directly at the power strips, and I've opened up a couple of panels in the rear of the cabinet to allow good air exchange. I'm hoping this is sufficient, if not, I will learn a very expensive lesson.
