I'll be getting my live rock soon, and beginning my rock scaping adventure/headache. My 45 gallon tank is tall and narrow, 36.25L x 24.80H x 12.6W. While browsing around, I saw a post where someone had glued a rock wall to the glass wall of a nano tank. Yet everything else I've read says to keep the rock away from the glass. My question is, given the narrow space I'm working with, is it okay to glue some rock structure to the back glass wall? What are the pros and cons of this? Or is it a big no-no? I'd like to hear what you all think. Thanks!

i’ve done it in a nano
in a bigger tank if you’re doing a reef wall you should put egg crate down and expanding foam with the rock you want along with epoxy or stone fix, the con for most would be detritus buildup
i never had an issue as i had plenty of things that would eat it and i loved the look of it
but that was only in a 5 gallon tank
