Thanks ... Just been doing a little more research and it seems like some people have had their red gracilaria go green when getting to much light and so begin more filled with chlorophyll. I gather these specimens from less than a metre from the surface, there was alot of it like this (all green) growing all over
Do you think the other type is some kind of caulerpa?
There were various types of caulerpas there that I recognize. Hadn't seen this before though.
Ocean temps are about 33C at the moment, so very warm. Bright sun the whole day ..
Cool finds. Love #3, looks similar to but not quite the same as what reefcleaners had as green agardhiella. I'd still lean towards it being agardhiella sp.
Thanks! I did like the look of them. They are in my tank now, tried to put them in a lower light area if they were indeed bleaching a little to the sunlight...
