I have hooked up my bubble magus doser and have been adding 2 part 4 times per day. Total per day below....
Alk: 110 ml/day
Cal: 110 ml/day

Here are my results for the last 2 nights. I tested at exactly the same time.

Day 1: Wednesday 10pm test
Alk: 6.7 with salifert, 7.168 with Hanna
Cal: 420 with salifert

Day 2: Thursday 10pm test
Alk: 6.55 with salifert, 6.88 with Hanna
Cal: 410 with salifert

So my alk is dropping about 1/3 of a point dkh per day and my cal dropping about 10 if I would keep dosing 110ml a day.

Question........
If I want my parameters, specifically Alk a little higher do I just manually dose enough 2 part inbetween the auto dosing to bring it up a to the desired level?

I do understand that at 110ml/day for each I am still going backwards daily so I will need to up my dosing ml also so alk and cal don't keep dropping. I figured that with the alk drop from 7.17 to 6.88 I need an extra 15.5 ml of Alk per day. Used REEF CALCULATOR - English and calculated using 75 gallons water volume Recipe 1 for amount. Since my cal went down from 420 to 410 is says I need to add 76ml to raise it back up to 420. So should I bring alk and cal up to the levels I want manually and then dose 125ml of alk(110 I have been dosing plus 15 extra ml/day) and 186ml of cal daily(110 plus 76 extra ml/day) so they don't drop daily like they have been?? Are my calculations correct?

Confused.....If raise the Alk and Calc to higher levels manually, will I have to dose even more to keep them at that level??? Does alk and calc get sucked up faster at higher levels(if it is there will the corals absorb more?)?

Hope this wasn't too confusing.

Thanks for answers!!

Your on the right track. Just get it to your target dosing manually but not too fast. Keep it no more than 1dkh per day. Once your there and you bump your doser a bit you should be good.
