Hi, I found this round thing on my glass a few days ago. It looks like a broken frisby or dish plate. I have a few more growing around on the glass.

Does it mean anything? My tank is around 8-10 months old.

Coralline grows like this, though.it doesn’t appear to be pink. If it is hard and diffucult to scrape off, I guess algae rather than bacteria,

Thanks! I have a few that are purple as well. I’m not sure where the green one comes from.

I have seen coralline that is pink, purple, green, and white. No idea why there is such a color difference, but it behaves just like normal coralline.
Thanks! One of my rock was orange and wasn’t sure if this was coraline or not. It was orange since I bought it. My idea on the colour difference is that it might be a different sub species.
