I have been having trouble identifying this algae or bacteria on my overflow. I’m thinking Cyno but the white things that look like tentacles have me second guessing. Any help is much appreciated.

Is it only on the overflow?
When you remove it manually, how quickly does it come back?

It does not look like cyano to me.
It’s only on the display side of the overflow. I don’t recall how long it took to come back but it doesn’t seem to be growing larger.
