Been dealing with this algae for a little bit now and it's just getting out of hand. Starting to grow on coral skeletons even with scrubbing and removing it regularly.

Can someone tell me what this is? Having a hard time 100% IDing it. It is some sort of green sheet algae that grows in layers over itself in a sheet like fashion.
I could use any advice possible on removing and keeping it from spreading.

Tank is a year and half old 45g cube. I do water changes about every 2-3 weeks depending.
Phosphate: 0.03-0.05 usually
Nitrate: 5ppm

get a couple of tangs if your system is big enough
Yes, it's been a real pain and only been getting worse. Unfortunately the tank is too small for any tangs. Anything else eat this stuff? Lol

Get an urchin or two. They will eat it pretty quickly and do a great job with scraping it completely off of the rocks with their beaks
