Aiptasia Embedded in my Zoa’s. How to Kill It

An Aiptasia is growing up inside one of my Zoa colony. How can I remove/kill it without hurting the Zoa’s.

This. Works fast and the Zoas will bounce back quick in my experience. You could try a peppermint shrimp but it’s 50/50 in my case and the aptasia x never fails

Good! I’ve got some, but wasn’t sure about the Zoa’s. I’ll cover it now.

Lol! You know, sometimes I feel my fish show some intelligenc, but other times, I realize they don’t. Got the Aiptasia - X ready, and turned all the pumps off. Covered the Aiptasia. Of course, it’s close to feeding time and when all the pumps went off here they come. The only thing they saw me put in the tank was this white Aiptasia x, so they all think it’s food. They all try to eat it and It explodes all over the tank. Good job fish. Thanks for the help.

a hydrogen peroxide dip has worked for me however I give no guarantees for the coral

Follow up. Tried the Aiptasia X, but the fish kep swimming by and blowing it off. Went for the backup. Took the rock out of the tank and put it in 50-50 saltwater and 3% hydrogen peroxide. Zoa’s came out fine, but the Aiptasia was fried. The missing Zoa’s are the ones that were being stung by the Aiptasia. The rest seem happy now. Figure a couple of months and they will refill the area that was damaged.
