Ai Blade Par Question

I just recently bought an AI blade grow fixture (21 inch)

Based on their website, this light will produce 80 PAR at full intensity at 24 inches (through the air)? My new tank dimensions are 24x16x16. With the AI elevated tank mount, my fixture is about 6 inches off the surface of the water. So from the sandbed, I'm about 22 inches to the LED.

My question is, that the light is about 2 inches lower than the stated measurement from the website, which would increase the PAR a bit. But my guess is that the Par is slightly less than advertised as they likely measure it in air vs water. Should I be running it close to full power, or are these light producing more par than I am aware of?

My settings right now are 85, 85, 40. Corals seem to be growing. I have a birds nest near the top, a acan and zoa on a shallow rock at the bottom (different areas) and one Monti cap midway. They all seem to be doing ok.

Overall I am very happy with the light fixture and color output. It makes my tank look great. Was thinking on getting the Glow in the near future.

Here reefdudes par checks a single grow. Id imagine his par would be slightly higher seeing as he has a longer light. About halfway through

They do seem to put out decent par though.

Looks like it's safe to say with the lesser length, they are likely putting out about what they say they are. I guess I should run the fixture closer to full power to ensure my sand bed is closer to 100 PAR which is my goal for the acans and zoas. Thank you for the video !!

To cover a 16” wide tank you’ll need 2 but I wouldn’t mix the glow and grow unless you go with 3 which is pricey. Couple grows will be plenty for anything you want.

I also have a 24 inch or3 blue plus which I can use. But not sure if it's dimmable. I am unsure if it requires the upgrade to make it dimmable. I figure these two would likely work well together. The reason I went with the blade as it has the app and ramp up and down feature.

I can run the or3 on a timer I guess and put it one hour after and before my time window on the AI.

Thats one thing OR series users complained about was there being no dimming. Then they released the OSIX,which I don't think was incredibly successful. Just put it on a timmer like you mentioned.
