Aeraqua Duo Skimmer noisy air intake.

Just hooked up my new maxspect Aeraqua Duo Skimmer, and it's making a gurgling noise, from the air intake. Sounds like a pot of boiling water.

Anyone having ideas on how to solve this?

I'm baffled, at the lack of support from Maxspect. Seems they use a third party for this, whos website isn't working, and feels mostly like an eastern european scam business.
I guess lesson learned here is never buy maxspect products again.
