Adding 10' canister to AquaticLife RODI Buddie system

I'm assuming it's possible to add a 10 inch canister to the existing Aquatic life RODI buddie for additional filtration. Since space is limited, I like the compactness of this system, and don't want to go for a larger system, but adding a 10 inch is probably is as much space I can afford. I don't see why it would be an issue. My concern is if there's any change in PSI, but I don't believe there should be?

I use canister filters as cryptic refugiums on sumpless, skimmerless systems. I don’t understand your concern. Would you expound on this?

ok - concern was introducing a canister larger than the cartridges that the existing RODI system uses might bring down the PSI enough to impede its performance. I suspect not.

ok - concern was introducing a canister larger than the cartridges that the existing RODI system uses might bring down the PSI enough to impede its performance. I suspect not.
You can add it and it will add pressure drop. I changed my Buddy canisters to 10” and added extra carbon stage.
