Added New Coral

So I added the below coral (pictures attached) I was told they’re beginner friendly and fairly hardy. I added 2 coral last weekend that opened up quickly and are doing great. But these 3 that I added I have had in tank for about an hour and the 2 (coral on sand bed and the white coral) seemed to of closed up more than when I first added them. Should I just give them time? And how long should I keep tank lights off for them? The third coral seems to be opening up and doing okay.

Give them time to adjust

Be patient. They are animals that have been moved around and placed in an unfamiliar environment. Some react faster and some slower.

They all opened up except the one on the sand bed. My snails and crabs won’t leave it alone. Do I just let it be?

snails and crabs naturally climb over frag plugs and corals, eating the algae and food items around the coral. Let it be. The critters will move on and the coral will open up

Can that be part of why it’s not opening up right away?

I just tested alkalinity and magnesium. Alk is 6.4 (little low, how do I raise?) magnesium is 1260 which seems to be good

Both are low. What's your calcium level?
