I started dosing acropower about 3 weeks ago. I noticed some slime on my filter sock. So I didn’t dose anything after a water change. And no weird slummy feeling.

I dosed one ml 2 days ago, and the sock was super slimey, and weird growth in that area too.

did my best to take a picture but also removed a bunch with a pipette.
Is this normal with acropower?

I’ve been dosing AP for months with no issues. I can’t tell where you are dosing. Is it going into your sock? If so, you may just have something choosing to use it there before the corals get it.

I do all my dosing into the return pump chamber of my sump. Looks like you have an AIO, I’d still dose into the return pump chamber so it gets quickly dispersed into the main display.
