A WEEKEND AT REEF-A-PALOOZA

So we made the decision on Tuesday that I should come check out RAP NY to see if it lives up to all the hoopla for palooza. What I can say at this point is absolutely. One of my first stops was at the booth the greatest reefing forum in the galaxy.

Having a great time networking with the vendors, and getting some great insight into the community and the expo.

@revhtree, his lovely wife and mother-in-love, @AlyciaMarie, @Gumbies R Us were so super nice and friendly making me feel right at home.

They immediately asked after the love of my life @Ocean_Queenie, who unfortunately couldn’t come this trip. This group is so real! And I didn’t forget to make sure that my love insisted that I greet them all for her.

More to come as I document my journey to the outer reaches of the galaxy and the mysterious reef.

But when I returned was when the fun really got rolling. I had so much fun talking to other vendors. Our reefing community rocks, every vendor I spoke with was open and friendly. Lots of awesome corals, fish and inverts hanging out at the show. I’ll do better at getting photos tomorrow. Had a great conversation with Chad @Reef Nutrition, I stopped by their booth to thank them for their sponsorship of Reef-A-Palooza, among others these sponsors are vital in these shows existing so again a huge shout out to all the Palooza sponsors, Thank You.

While caught up in our discussion I found myself swept away by some of the more aggressive fish and invertebrates at the expo. Anyone who thinks Hippo Tangs are docile hasn’t met this feisty one.
