a few easy apex questions.- after years of having it I am finally learning how to use it...hopefully.

I am sure there will be lots of questions it's a big learning set for me.
so bare with me.

1st. I remember or read/heard some where the some outlets have a specific use and other dont. is that true? id so what ones.
can I just rename the outlets to what I want and move on with my day?

2. I have updated the Eb832 a few times but each time I check it says I am running the older version of the software (7) how do I do this? It seems to Down load just fine and says OK but the version dose not change. I'll post a pic.

3. how to turn off notification? I was getting a low salt one as I dont plan to use it. I hear there not really good anyway & i let it out of water for many months. I disabled the salt now I am getting ORP. once I get this think up and running good i will be using a new ORP probe for Ozone.

4. what does the red triangle mean by the tank name? I 'll post pic.

The outlets on the EB832 are all the same and there no longer is a difference in load capacity for each

Confirming update of software on the EB832; you did change the configuration to Update Software and then clicked the Send to cloud icon?

The red triangle means there is an alarm on somewhere, be it a probe or email alarm. Check the alarm log by clicking the second icon in the menu bar

You can disable any probes by clicking the settings gear icon for the probe and changing to disable

Or disable the email alarm enablement tile

Lastly, check the email alarm settings to see any advanced programming and alerts configured

that good to know about the outlets. I did get this think back in 2018 maybe 2019 so is that the same?

now I cant find where I was trying to update the Eb832 let me dig around. but from what I can remember I did have update software but the upload button was not push-able -is that even a word?

let me play around and see what I can do.

wired now I cant find where i was trying to update the Eb832...so odd I did or tried to a few times yesterday now cant seem to recall where or who i was doing it.

can anyone point me in the right direction?

Yes, all EB832s are the same. It was the EB8 power bar that had designated outlets.

Click the Expand icon

Click the System icon

Click the gear for your EB832 in the system tree

Change the configuration setting dropdown from Configure to Update and click the send to cloud icon
