Figured i would start a build thread for my new 93 gal cube. long story short i had a 55 gal tank build in my old house complete with sump and frag tank setup. moved to a new house and decided to try the all in one tank game. i hate it. i have not been happy with my 27 gal lagoon tank. great tank but small tanks are not my game. so back to a big tank i go.

Going with 2 jebao pp-8 powerheads. I've used jebaos in the past and have been very happy with them (currently have jebaos that have been running for 3 years). Will probably go with reef octopus dc wave pumps down the road. But for now these will do.

Big delivery today starting with the plumbing. I'm going to do a dark gray and red theme. First time spending hundreds on plumbing. Previous builds utilized flex hosing and cheap ball valves. Taking a crack at a fully hard plumbed system. I bought some regular white pvc for doing test fitting and initial cuts then I'll do final cuts with the red pipe.

Synergy reef sump scheduled for delivery wednesday. Super pumped always dreamed of having a acrylic name brand sump. My old system had a custom glass divided sump I made myself. Got the job done but didn't look that good in my opinion.
