Noted and removed from my order. In order to save on shipping, I scrapped that and upgraded my refractometer from the cheaper one to one with better reviews. Thanks!

Best thing on that list, live rock good call.Things keep rolling along, if slowly! I put in a couple of orders with Amazon and Chewy today. Amazon locker pickup has become my best friend to avoid thieves, but I’m hoping this Chewy order is safe if I pick it up as soon as they scan it in!
The big news, though, is that I’m FINALLY picking up live rock from my LFS on Saturday, or if I wind up working later, Sunday!
It’s about time!!!!
I’m also hoping to make it to our local reef club’s BBQ on Sunday. So, between work and reef stuff, it’s a busy weekend!

I only plan on using the one bag of coralife to start with, then I’m planning to use something else. When I ordered, it was part of an Amazon order and the salt options were very limited.Looking good. Tell me how you like the Coralife salt. If you don't like it Aquaforest is running a heck of a sale on Bulk Reef Supply for their 150 gallon boxes of Sea Salt.
I’m going back and forth between reef crystals or instant ocean or maybe instant ocean until I’m ready for corals.I used a Coralife bucket and switched back to Re f Crystals. It wasn't bad but it seemed to have a lot of grey and black junk left in the bottom of the mixing container. I know there can be dirt and clay in there but I just don't notice that much with Reef Crystals and they're cheaper...
It probably won't hurt to just go with the Reef Crystals. Just mix well because as it settles it can separate and you'll get inconsistent mixes (that's actually with any salt).I’m going back and forth between reef crystals or instant ocean or maybe instant ocean until I’m ready for corals.
I agree on the coralife not mixing cleanly. I’m not sure what that is about, but I experienced the same.
U will get every answer known to man on salt. For me just pick the one that is closest to where you want your lvls and run with it and don't look back.

I downsized to an apartment, so I don’t think I’ll ever have room for something that big!Let me know if you ever end up with enough space for a 120... I still have one sitting in my garage with nowhere to go.
I was supposed to go... but... work...Some stuff arrived!
Backup heater!
Refractometer…which I need even stronger reading glasses to read. I feel old!
I also went to my first event with the local reef club, a BBQ. I scored some loot in the raffle and got to check out the hosts’ setup, which was basically a whole basement of insane frag tanks. I got some good advice and encouragement.
And I moved my aquascape a little bit. Sand arrives in a few days!
Maybe you’ll make it to the bus tour in October?I was supposed to go... but... work...
