I have:
1 engineer goby
5 blue green chromis
1 firefish

Scheduled to go to my display tonight.

Usually I put all fish in an introduction box, but this is the largest batch.

Anyone know if any of these fish should skip introduction box? Or if I should split up introduction into DT to avoid cramming all 7 into the box?

Its a 12x7 inch introduction box.

I kind of want to let the engineer go straight into the tank.

Current occupants are 2 clowns, a lawnmower blenny, a mandarin dragonet, 1 coral banded shrimp, 1 cleaner shrimp, bunch of snails, and 2 hermits.

Feel free to ask any questions that might help with input.

The engineer is about 6 1/2 inches, all are juveniles.

Firefish are very skittish and jumpy. They'll dart around banging into things, damaging their top fin like crazy or jump clean out, often through a very, very small hole/gap in tank top. So careful is the word for them.

Those Chromis love to swim. Small spaces are tough on them.

I only use an acclimation box when absolute precaution with introductions is a must. For me, it was pairing a new Masked Swallowtail angel with a resident female to gauge whether the resident female was going to rage. I’d do the same when adding a new tang, or a copperband butterfly in with my Gem tang.

Otherwise, as long as there is no obvious potential for aggression, the box pretty much adds an unnecessary stressor to both new and existing inhabitants.

I don’t see any red flags in your fish list (maybe the Lawnmower takes issue with the Engineer Goby?). Since you’re adding so many new fish, any aggression from the residents is likely to be distributed across the whole.
