4 dead fish

i just added 5 fish on Friday and and 2 new fish have died and 2 old fish i have a 50 gallon tank

the blue tang got in the the sump some how
but the flame angle, the clown fish and the jeweled damsel and the one fire tail goby all died this week, i took a water sample to to my fish store and they tested the water with the liquid test kit and they said all the parameters were perfect
the fish looked to be uninjured but i did notice that the fish we hiding and coming out every now and then all the fish were dip acclimated but the newer fish spent 2 hours in the bag becsae my car died at the fish store but he said they have five hours in the bag,
i did not rearrange all my rocks when i added the new fish
and i unfortunatly dont do the feeding but they are fed one brin srip and agly cube a day or evry other day
i feel that it is under feeding but i don't know for certan

i have lots of moving water and water that is braking the serfice as well as a power head that bubles air in so i dont think it is a o2 problem

Not sure that's a great mix for a 50G tank. If you didn't QT, you likely brought something in though.
It would be helpful to know if they are eating and active. Are the remaining fish still hiding or acting normal? You will want to keep a close eye on the survivors.

How old is this tank?
As for water test, please take a water sample to a store that does NOT use Api kits and have them test your ammonia and nitrates and compare readings with the ones you just got.- then you'll know where your levels truly are at
If youre going to stock fish like this, invest in good kits such as Hanna or salifert brand. I suspect low oxygen but did you notice sluggishness, loss of appetite, gasping at surface, heavy breathing right up to point of loss?
In the fish bags, temperature rising can have impact and did you acclimate the fish and how and how long?

(next time i will have an exell dccument to shair, i am trying to get the person who takes the tests when i am not in to learn to uplode, i dont have 24/7 acses to the tank becase it is in a medical office

ok so as i mentioned in the post according to the fish store all the parameters were perfect

Lighting 2 lighites i dont know
How long has the aquarium been established? years, i took over 2 months ago the original maintainer is in the hospital so i cant ask

all peramiters were good acordig to the fish store i am working on seting up an exell document that i can share as a read only for to shair work done and peramiters

I agree with you I feel it is underfeeding.

i got a direct anser they feed half a cube in the moning and half a cube after lunch they claime it is more than the 1.8grams google said to feed but
i have been teillinng them feed 2 cubes becase i saw a blog bost that said 2 cubes for a medum stoct tank

it is years old i don't have an exact number becase i took over maintaining it after the origanal maintainer was hospitalizesd, i drip aclimated for 2 houers, i took the a sample to the fish store they uesd the api saltwater master kit i used the test strips and they both agreed that the peramiters were normal, i also do a five galon water change evry weak i might do 10 this weak i dosed fusion 1and 2 evry other day and a weak befor i added the 2 new fish that died i dosed a tea spoon of seachem reef builder,

i am looking in to geting the hana interments what ones should i start with i am gussing they will be cheeper in the long run compaird to the master kit or the test strips ,but they are expensive to start

as for o2 i have a proteen skimer my retun syntim brakes the serfufus of the water i have a power head that pumps air in to the tank the water drips thure bio balls and i have visable air bubles in the tank and it tests as a 6 when i add the cemicals
the fish have been moving fast and normal some have been hiding in thire caves mainly 2 brand new fier gobys and the one clown was hiding behind a corla they had no phisical inguris that i could see and i did not see gasping

oh shoot i forgot to mention i stured up the botom of the tank to try and use a transfer pump to suck up all the stuf in the sand, i am thinging i shiuld just pull all the rocks and replace the sand it looks bad

also i havea slime that clogs my main filter right befor it drips in to the bio balls

i think i covored evry thing if i did not plese tell me i will do my best to give all the info i have i am new to this

Not sure that's a great mix for a 50G tank. If you didn't QT, you likely brought something in though.

it is in a medical ofice so i a qt tank is not an option all the fish look healthey and the person the stoer owner buys them from in miami dosess with som medication to keep them healthy and parisite free

no the fish were not breathing havy i did an o2 test and it was reading as a 6 from a scale 1-8

i am new i have wached all of the five minit guieds and the brs 160 vidios, i know a litle about fish from fisshing this is the first tank i have ever taken ovrer
yes i cleen it cleen the filters and do a five gall water change each week
it is a filter pad thaen it drips in to bi balls goes thue a carbon filter and then a pourus ponge

Test strips are useless and API may be true or false why I say better kits. Get another test as I suspect water issue
