Hello, I have had my biocube for about 2 months now. I have been trying to look at better lighting schedules for my tank. Right now its on for about 12 hrs a day and i have read and been told it should be on no longer than 8-10 hrs a day of lighting. I prefer the lights to turn on around 10 or so and turn off by 8 or 6 depending on what is better for my fish and corals.
I have:
2 Clowns
Goby/Pistol Shrimp pair
Royal gramma
4 zoas
rainbow ricordea
Lighting Schedule:
LC1 (Daylights): 11:00 am to 7:00 pm
LC2 (Sunrise / Sunset): 10:30 am to 7:00 pm
LC3 (Moon Lights): 7:00 am to Midnight
This is the schedule im running right now. Is this to long for my fish/corals? Also in a few months I plan on adding an anemone once my tank is stable and doesn't fluctuate much. Would this change how i should schedule my lights?
Thanks for your time.
