Just as the title says, who is offering the oddballish size. Looking to get a 30x24x24 or a 30x24x20. Glass or acrylic isnt a huge deal. Who is out there, am I hosed to drop coin on a custom build?

No 36" options (no room), no aio's (BTDT). It's to replace my now becoming sps dominant 24x24x20 cube thats 9 billion years old.

TIA!!

I'm hoping to avoid custom as the $$$ is gonna make me groan. Looking for more 'off the rack' @ this point. If I go custom, the 120g may get a redo to a 150/180 with the specs I want (external overflow & low iron glass). Who did your build if I may ask?

Ha! My current cube is an old SC aquariums set up. I'm limited to 30" across (current stand footprint).
Put a piece of 1” thick mdf under it and let it over hang the stand 1” on each side.. it wouldn’t hurt anything.

Hmm... Something to consider. The 32" could work, 36" just sucks up too much room!

Bump... Any other suggestions. Heading to my LFS later today and want to hopefully throw some ideas at them about it. Leaning towards having the glass locally built, which would be a 30x22x22 or something abouts. But the SCA is mighty tempting.

you're right i was just on glass cages tank builder and was surprised at the cost of a 30x24x24. somehow there larger tanks are more economical even a pretty good deal. at least last time i checked.

I had SCA 90 a fews years ago. that's when after 15+ years in the hobby i discovered i did not like cube tanks. some about that size was wrong in my eye. also as you know the internal over flow is HUGE another thing i could not get over.
here you go:

I just got there 200 ext. pen. and I am very happy with the APS stand.

in all honesty if you have to replace the stand anyway might as well go with the IM 112 its 36x36x 20 would be an epic SPS tank with that depth.

Some photos to help explain the footprint issues. Current cube is 24x24x20. I have some room to go wider (up to 30") but not deeper. Sofa on one side, patio/yard door on the other. I'm in a condo so not a lot of room to work with!

Dont want to trash or not use the stand since its sentimental as its one of the last woodworking jobs my dad did before the Parkinson's just got too much for him to handle woodworking anymore. Thus it stays. So I may just cry to the local custom glass builder, lol.
