What’s going on reefers?! Hope you all are doing great! I was hoping to get some tips or suggestions on setting up a new tank for my parents.
They have room for a tank that is about 40 inches wide and 14 inches tall. The limit on height is because part of the tank will be under a countertop cabinet. The closest thing I can find to those dimensions seems to be a rimless 30g bookshelf tank.
Does anyone else have any suggestions on the best way to get that started as simply and visually appealing as possible? My concern is that I only have experience with my AIO cube tank and there is no opportunity for an external sump where this tank will be placed. Has anyone run an HOB filter and skimmer for a reef this size? I’d also love to hear any stocking suggesting for a simple and eye catching setup.
