Hello, has anyone successfully kept 3 Lyretail female anthias in standard 75 gallon? I see that most recommend at 75 gallon for a single male and 120 or larger for small school, any thoughts or advice ?? I will be using automatic feeder with quality pellets to get 3-4 feeds in daily and frozen food after work.

Thanks

I wouldn't.

I have a single female lyretail in my tank, which is basically a 75g tank. Definitely the most aggressive fish I own, though I keep a fairly peaceful tank so that's not saying much. But put three of her in there, and someone is going to get harassed to death. In a 4' tank you just don't have the space to keep enough of them to disperse the con-specific aggression.

I have one male, two females in my standard 75. No issues. I feed them with an auto feeder twice daily with PE pellets 1mm., plus frozen brine or mysis at night with the others. I also feed tdo chroma boost medium pellets occasionally but feel they are a bit too big for my anthias.

Did you start with 2 females or did 1of the females change to male?

What else do you have in your tank? I have a 75gal and was looking at 2 female and a male as well but wasn't sure if I'd be limited on what else I could put in there. Currently have 2 clowns and a dotty back
