Hey Reef2Reef members

I’m starting my build thread

I have a 26 gallon AIO Red Sea Max Nano Peninsula

I just cycled my tank using Dr. Tims fishless cycle took 18 days and a 50% water change on day 14 used Marco rock about 15 pounds I ordered 20 and it was plenty and used Caribsea Fiji Pink Agra-Live sand I also added MarinePure Ceramic Media Gems 90G above the sponge and return pump area it all most makes it so the current ATO doesn't work it took a little moving them around but they no longer block the ATO from working. and will be adding fish and coral soon.

later once the tank is a little older I will figure out how to add a siphon style hang on back drain to a sump where the current ATO is located on these I’ll remove the small ATO it comes with and add bigger ATO and then add a refugium and the ATO In the cabinet… I’m going to probably use square restaurant buckets with measurements to make them. should be a lot cheaper we will see haha :)

here are a few photos before fish or anything is added.

oh and

only other equipment I have purchased was a heater a 100 watt innovative marine Helio PTC smart heater, Reefwave 25 pump with controller, And of course test kits everything I purchased was purchased from bulkreefsupply

wish me luck I’ll try to get some better pictures right now just have my iPhone any suggestions on taking better photos would be great.
