I'm curious what you all think of this. I had movers bring my tank into the basement and set it on the stand. When they set it down initially it looked like we got it right on but the tank sitting on the foam is ever so slightly not directly over the plywood board and stand along one long edge. Over the end the tank is on the foam but has a tiny bit of overhang of the foam as well. I've tried moving it and the tank won't budge at all. Any thoughts? I definitely need to get this to move so there's no overhang right?

It would annoy me. Can you get some suction cups and buddies to scootch it over? You can get two cheap ones from amazon for about 17 bucks.

I do have suction cups actually. It's the strong friends that is the issue.
My 280g I am able to nudge when I put my body/shoulder into it..... but yeah, if you can't move it and you don't have easy help, you may just have to live with it unfortunately

Is there any reason for concern? Aesthetically it's not great but enough of the bottom of the tank is supported it should be okay correct?

I would think it's fine based on your pictures and wouldn't lose sleep on it, but I'm also not an expert on this :)

Thank you for the input. Anyone else wanna weigh in? I figure since it's a very very slight overhang all of the force of the tank's weight is pushing straight down on the foam then the board which is situated perfectly over the stand. I'm not an engineer though so figured I should double check before moving ahead with the build.

If you really want to move it wrap a ratchet strap around the end of the tank you want to push in and attach the ends of the straps to the stand on the opposite side. Then carefully tighten the ratchet strap until tank is flush with stand. I would put rigid foam and maybe a board in between the glass and the strap first though.

Nice idea! Thank you.
